Our merger with Boston Culinary Group and the launch of our revolutionary new hospitality design group Centerplate Stir™ headlined a record year for new business development. Operationally, new milestones for same-venue sales growth and world-class events--like MLB's greenest World Series ever in San Francisco, an all-Centerplate Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics in Vancouver--helped to catapult Centerplate to the position of largest and most dynamic premium event hospitality company in North America. And we're not done yet.

Historically, our industry has used per capita sales or total event revenues to track success. Consistent with our commitment to provide a total solution, we believe that overall client Return is the most important metric. Mathematically we define Return as a function of Margin multiplied by velocity: R= M*V. Quite simply, our clients’ Return is a function of the Margin (how much our client makes from a particular transaction) multiplied by the Velocity (how many like transactions we drive).
