The town's Centennial Gala will take place at Tim's Toyota Center on Feb. 14, 2012, and will celebrate Arizona's 100 years of statehood along with Valentine's Day.

Not only will guests enjoy a gourmet site down dinner at the gala, but an all-star lineup of entertainers will keep them enthralled throughout the evening.

Emcee for the gala will be Jim West, who formerly worked for country star Buck Owens' radio station in Phoenix. West is now on the advisory board of the Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. During dinner, Hall of Fame member and historian/musician Marshall Trimble will regale guests with stories and songs of the Old West.

After dinner, concert entertainment will include cowboy singer Johnny Western, who formerly toured with the Johnny Cash Show; singer Rex Allen Jr.; and up-and-coming Western girl group Firefly, which won the 2010 Colgate Country Showdown. Firefly has since opened for Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber and LeAnn Rimes.

To round out the evening, longtime Arizona country band J. David Sloan and Western Bred will play for those who want to kick up their heels on three dance floors surrounding the dining area.

The night will end with as much excitement as it begins, with a patriotic fireworks display.
